To be a WALLFLOWER

Image
To be a wallflower, Outside the care and love that was ours, To grow in some corner of the park, Untouched, unnoticed, Beyond the norms of beauty they created, In the bright light of sun and under tears shed by overcast, We danced to the gust of winds and the chirps from two birds far apart, We wondered what they talk about? Is it the swirling sky? Or something beyond our sight, We watched the red roses bloom and die somewhere far, But we were right there, Untouched, unnoticed. Outside the care and love that was ours, And after all the beauty that reached our hearts, We could say it was indeed beautiful, To be a wallflower.

Moon Rises Stars Flicker

Image
Moon rises stars flicker, The sea contemplates the heavenly vigour, Tides efface lapsed track, To remind one to take the unfamiliar path, For wanderer to seek for cynosure, For cautious to step into the unknown, Moon rises stars flicker.   Mist settles on the daffodils yet to bloom, Forms crystals to gleam at dawn and take over the gloom, For the despaired one to remind the times they're a-changin', For when the night is tragic the bliss is turnin', Moon rises stars flicker.   Dawn breaks over the good ol' town, Sparrows dip their wings in elixir and frolic around, Rush takes over the vacant streets, And the wanderer returns to the home indeed, To remind us it's alright to take a pause, And compensate for every moment of ecstasy we lost, Sun shines and the birds peep, The sea contemplates the heavenly parade.
